During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we adhered to very strict CDC guidelines and state regulations in order to remain open for business. Initially, we offered curbside service only, as in-store shopping was not permitted. Once restrictions eased, we transitioned to a system allowing customers into the store a few customers at a time.
WHY: Our retail area is compact, measuring just 18 feet by 12 feet, which makes accommodating 20 to 30 customers at once very challenging. Our current system, which limits the number of shoppers inside the store, helps manage the crowd, ensures a pleasant shopping experience, and allows for personalized service with our butchers.
While this system is no longer a necessity due to COVID, it has proven to be effective and beneficial for both our staff and customers. it maintains an organized environment and provides a better shopping experience.
HOW IT WORKS: When you arrive, simply check in with our customer service representative at our outside shed. Provide your name and cell phone number, and you will receive a text when it is your turn to enter the store. This digital system is similar to the traditional take-a-number approach, but with added convenience and efficiency.
We understand that while many customers appreciate this approach, some may prefer different arrangements. We are continually exploring ways to improve and hope to enhance your experience in the future.
